Incident: Tasmanian voters’ details stolen in data breach | ABC News (Australia)

Australian Information Security Incident Reported: July 01 2018

The details of about 4,000 Tasmanians who voted express in the last state and Upper House elections have been stolen.

“We’ve been informed that it includes the name, date of birth, email address and enrolment address of all the electors that applied for an express vote at the 2018 Legislative Council and state elections,” Tasmanian Electoral Commission (TEC)
