Australian Information Security Incident Reported: March 21 2016

Toowoomba Regional Council candidate, Diane Warr was left dumbfounded after a hacker posted sexually explicit photographs on her personal Facebook page.

Ms Warr believes the hacking attack wasn’t related to her election campaign or malicious in nature.

She has previously been the victim of cyber crime with a hacker gaining access to her bank account.

A notification for a friend request appeared on her page and she went through her normal practice of checking to see if they had mutual friends.
