Incident: ‘Scotty Doesn’t Know’: PM’s website plays lewd song after internet prank takeover | ABC News (Australia)

Australian Information Security Incident Reported: October 19 2018

A prankster claims credit for a takeover of Scott Morrison’s web domain, hosting an image of the PM along with an obscene pop-punk song about a teenage love affair called Scotty Doesn’t Know.

In a Facebook post dated 5:20pm (AEDT) yesterday, a man named Jack Genesin claimed credit for the prank, claiming Mr Morrison had forgotten to renew his website and it had expired.

“Most fun I’ve had with $50 in a long time,” Mr Genesin said.
