Incident: ‘Business as usual’ for Perth restaurant following bookings hack | WAtoday

Australian Information Security Incident Reported: August 28 2018

A Perth restaurant has been forced to hire an IT expert after its booking site was hacked by someone claiming staff had not been paid.

Guests booking tables at The Butcher’s Arms on St Georges Terrace were delivered a ‘confirmation’ email on Tuesday morning that alleged the business owed its workers up to four weeks’ worth of payments.
