Incident: Petya cyber attack: Cadbury chocolate factory in Tasmania hit by ransomware | ABC News (Australia)

Australian Information Security Incident Reported: June 28 2017

The Tasmanian Cadbury chocolate factory has been targeted by a ransomware attack which is affecting the company’s IT system.

Production at the company’s Claremont facility was halted when the computer system went down about 9:30pm on Tuesday in what was described as a “cyber attack”.

In a statement, Cadbury’s parent company Mondelz International said they “do not know when our systems will be restored”.
