Incident: Contractor spreads WannaCry to Vic traffic cameras | iTWire

Australian Information Security Incident Reported: June 22 2017

A contractor has infected 55 traffic cameras in Victoria with the WannaCry worm, according to the state’s department of justice.

According to the information available, both intersection and highway cameras were affected.

The Melbourne radio station 3AW said the cameras had been infected through use of an USB flash drive.
